So the question comes.. your degree more than -400 or you want UV anti-reflection coating for clearer vision and protection, so the price will up. 

but if your degree is -600, you want thinner lenses, so either 1.6 index, 1.67 index or 1.74 index or 1.76 index. as the lenses go thinner and thinner, the price is higher and higher. It is only at the thickness of the lenses. 

Then will ask for block blue ray? got scratch resistance, easily to take care, which big brand? Well, don't say things are much higher price, when your expectations are NOT THE BASIC or NOT UNDER THE BASIC RANGE.

Example: The most basic progressive lenses is all the standard type. then people will ask got UV protection, got anti-reflection coating, can wear or not, can last or not, strong scratch resistance, got wide vision or not, got change color or not, which big brand, got blue ray? when your expectation getting higher, the price will follow.

THERE IS ALWAYS PROS AND CONS. THERE IS ALWAYS A REASON WHY THE PRICE IS DIFFERENT.

EXAMPLE: I BOUGHT A UK BRANDED POLO AT OFFICIAL BRAND WEBSITE, AND I RECEIVE MADE IN I**** UK BRANDED POLO.

In the economic situation and supply and demand, many brands have sub factories at different countries to cut costs and help up with the demand of the consumer needs. Yes, it is still same brand.. same standard? Up for you to think and decide. Everyone have different thinking.
