Wet
ARMD
- may notice distortion
of central vision
and blurring
progress rapidly
- results in color
blindness
- either inject
drug to prevent
from worse but vision
cannot be better or,
inject
drug to improve
vision, expensive and
up
to 2 years treatment
Dry
ARMD
Vision start to get
worse over period of years
-Will have problems
with reading and
any
task required detailed vision
- no
effective treatment but will
not lead to total blindness as long the distance vision retain
- vision can be improved by LOW VISION AIDS
